Hai! Ramadhan telah tiba. MrsBuckwheat perlahan memasuki musim mengejar diskon. Langsung saja, ini kali kedua gue belanja online di FashionValet. Pertama akhir Januari lalu, pas musim diskon juga *nyengir*.  Termasuk pengalaman belanja yang menyenangkan. Karena itulah, gue kembali lagi.

Hi! Ramadan has arrived. MrsBuckwheat slowly entered the (rebate) hunting season. So, this is the second time I shop online at FashionValet. The first is at the end of January, when it was also on sale season *grin*. It was such a pleasant shopping experience. Because of that, I re-visit FashionValet webstore on this holy month of Ramadan.

FashionValet (www.fashionvalet.com) adalah destinasi belanja online yang berasal dari Malaysia, yang menawarkan berbagai macam produk dan merek fesyen, sepatu maupun aksesoris untuk wanita, pria, dan anak-anak. Bukan hanya merek lokal Malaysia saja, gue juga melihat ada beberapa merek Indonesia tersedia di FashionValet, termasuk salah satu merek favorit gue, Schmiley Mo.

FashionValet (www.fashionvalet.com) is an online shopping destination based at Malaysia, offering a wide range of fashion brands and products: clothes, shoes, and accessories for women, men, and kids. Not only local Malaysian brands, I also see there are several Indonesian brands available in FashionValet, including one of my favorite brands, Schmiley Mo.

Cara berbelanja di Fashion Valet cukup mudah. Tampilan antarmukanya terbilang rapi dan user friendly, baik situs versi asli juga versi mobile. Selama ini gue lebih sering mengakses FashionValet dari browser di smartphone. Penempatan menu dan ikonnya memudahkan gue mencari produk dan melakukan pembelian. Sebelum melakukan pembelian, pelanggan harus membuat akun terlebih dahulu. Langkah selanjutnya mengisi alamat pengiriman, memilih metode pengiriman (yaitu mengambil paket di salah satu toko fisik FashionValet atau dikirim langsung ke alamat pelanggan), lalu menentukan metode pembayaran yaitu, online banking, kartu debit/kredit atau Paypal, atau Cash On Delivery. Tentu saja pilihan Cash On Delivery tidak tersedia untuk alamat pengiriman di luar Malaysia.

How-to-shop at Valet Fashion is quite easy. The interface is neat and user friendly, both full version and mobile version. But, I often access FashionValet from a browser on my smartphone. The placement of menus and icons makes it easy for me to find products and to make purchases. Before making a purchase, customer must first create an account. The next step is to fill in the shipping address, choosing the shipping method (i.e. pick up the package at one of FashionValet's offline stores or sent it directly to the customer's address). Then, choosing the payment method: online banking, debit/credit card or Paypal, or Cash On Delivery. Of course, Cash On Delivery option isn't available for shipping addresses outside Malaysia.


Paket gue sampai 5 hari setelah pembelian. Lumayan cepat kan? Gue sendiri sampai kaget. Paketnya dikemas dalam boks berukuran sedang dengan ilustrasi peta Malaysia. Sangat menyenangkan melihatnya, paket gue terasa lebih spesial. Terlebih karena awal Mei gue sempat traveling sendiri ke sana dan peta gue ketinggalan di meja belajar V. Seperti pengingat kalau gue pernah berada di beberapa lokasi di peta itu. "Oh, dua minggu yang lalu gue di sini.."

My package arrived on the 5th day after the purchase. Pretty fast right? I myself was surprised. The package was wrapped in a medium size box with an illustration of a map of Kuala Lumpur. It was nice to see it, my package felts more special. Especially, because I had traveled alone there without my Kuala Lumpur map. It was left out on V's table at home. So, this is like a reminder that I had been at several locations on that map. "Oh, two weeks ago I was there ..."


Satu yang paling gue suka dari FashionValet adalah gratis ongkos kirim ke Indonesia. Untuk pembelian kedua ini, paket dikirim menggunakan jasa Express Mail RedBox. Sebelumnya (pada pembelian pertama) paket dikirim memakai jasa Aramex. Waktu itu gue bisa memantau perjalanan paket dari Malaysia ke rumah gue. Sayangnya, minggu lalu menu tracking RedBox sedang down sehingga gue tidak bisa memantau paket di pembelian kedua.

One I like the most from FashionValet, it offers free shipping to Indonesia. For this second purchase, my package was sent by the RedBox Express Mail. Previously (on the first purchase) the package was sent by Aramex. At that time, I was able to monitor my package "trip" from Malaysia to my house. Unfortunately, last week the RedBox tracking menu was down so I couldn't monitor the package of my second purchase.


Boks paket fashionValet cukup tebal untuk diisi hanya satu baju. Terdengar suara glodakan setiap dimiringkan. Gue jadi bertanya-tanya ada apa lagi di dalam boks selain baju yang gue pesan. GR deh..

FashionValet box was too big to fit just one shirt. I heard a sound every time I tilted the box. I wondered what else was inside the box besides the clothes I ordered.

Ternyata boks ini edisi khusus Idul Fitri, ada cerita dan ucapan di sisi depan boks. Isinya menarik dan gue tersenyum sendiri sewaktu membacanya. Paling suka kalau dapat paket yang kemasannya didesain khusus demi menyenangkan pelanggan. I really appreciate the effort.

It turned out that the box was a special edition for Eid, there were a story and a greeting on the front side of the box. The content was interesting and I smiled to myself while reading it. I really love when I get a package which packaging is designed specifically to please customers. I really appreciate the effort.
